I MISS MY FAMILY ON EID.

On 26th of August 2011, my teacher college were on semester break but just for a week because of our Muslim celebration that is Eid Mubarak. It is the day when the Muslim finishing their fasting month and it is like the winning day of all the Muslim's. We celebrated Eid on 30th of August 2011. I want to share something that my family and I like to do on Eid and our preparation before Eid. Before Eid, my sister and brothers were going back to our hometown to celebrate Eid with us at the village. My village is somewhere at Sarawak. Some of them were really excited to go home and packing their belongings earlier than we expected. I also never been excited as this year Eid because I think I have grown enough to understand their happiness on Eid. During the last five nights of the fasting month, we lighted lamps or "pelita" in front of our house or even some of them lighted it around their house. It is very lovely and wonderful to see. We all share the same feelings and enjoy to see the lights. When it comes to the nights before Eid, my mother cook some glutinuous rice or even said as "pulut" or in Sarawak we called it by the name of "kelupis". In our family, it is the must have food during the Eid.

It is the day of Eid on 30th of August 2011. In the morning of the first Eid day, our family will perform a prayer in the mosque. Then after prayer, we gather in our family house and begin to seek forgiveness with our parents and other siblings that older than us. We kiss their forehead, cheek, shoulder and knee as a symbol of respects the older. Then, my eldest siblings will give us the money or "angpau". I am the second youngest of nine siblings and I surely got a lots of money. That is what I love to do on Eid. Although I am 17 years, 10 month and 3days old on 08/September/2011, this year but I am still being given the money on Eid. Then my brother said to me "After you had finished your teacher education, you will never get any money from me" but I know he was joking. :D

On the Eid day also we will visited our relatives house or our friends or even our neighbours house. This is one of the thing that make our community relationships grow even stronger and wider. I really had a blast with my family because I really miss them so much. I wonder if they know that I love them sooooooo much. We were cooperative towards each other and really know our responsibility. My brothers and sisters are my soulmate forever. My parent are my heart and soul from the day that I was born in this world. "Look parent, brothers and sisters, this is your little princess. I am now grown up to be a lady but many people told that I am a childish person." "Look family, look, I am now in my way to be a teacher. I had finished my primary and secondary school and now is currently in teacher trainee" "Look family, this is the person that you all have kissed for the rest of your life".

Time passes and I really hate it when it pass. I still want to gather with my family. I still want them to be with me. I need them. I really cannot live without them. I cannot stand on my own. It is sad to know that I live by myself in the hostel. I hate hostel. I hate this place. I do not have any 'love' for this place. I think I have to drag my feet out of this place.

MUMMY and DADDY : THANKS FOR EVERYTHING, FOREVER I LOVE YOU.

BROTHERS and SISTERS : OUR BLOOD IS A ETERNITY RELATION.
